Ashford Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) Vulnerable Adults and Older Persons Service

The Ashford IAG Service offers free impartial information, advice and guidance for adults, families and carers to assist them with the issues they may face. Our one-to-one service provides guidance to individuals either in their own home or in the William Harvey Hospital (as part of the Integrated Discharge Team).
We offer a holistic approach talking through different areas of the person’s life and what will make the greatest difference to them. It is a short-term intervention, with referrals made to other services or organisations where there is a need for on-going support.
As part of this service we have an IAG worker who works in the Community who can do assessments for KCC telecare (lifeline) and for minor aids and adaptations in the home for example; grabrails & bath seats. We can also provide brokerage support for private care packages and review KCC direct payment packages.
